Traditional Marble Bathroom
This project involved not only design but also our build services. The clients wanted to transform their 4 bedroom, 1 bathroom terrace house into a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house; changing one bedroom into an en-suite. This involved us moving a doorway, adding in a window and bringing in plumbing into what was originally a study. We also increased the size of the main family bathroom by knocking through into the separate cloakroom.
The client wanted a traditional look with lots of marble. A traditional roll-top bath takes centre stage in the family bathroom with Neptune freestanding basins finished with Carrara marble worktops and traditional brassware completing the look. An imitation Carrara marble porcelain tile was specified for the floors and walls in order to keep the bathrooms easy to maintain with a young family.
