Contemporary Apartment Kitchen
A bold contemporary design with a masculine edge was the concept for this Hyde Park apartment kitchen which was mainly used for socialising and entertaining. Situated on a mezzanine, overlooking a double height living space, the kitchen itself had low ceilings which we embraced to design a cosy, bar-like dining and entertaining space.
We customised a wall of black lacquered cabinetry to sit effortlessly alongside the low ceilings and allowed texture and contrast to come into play as the sleek kitchen cabinetry meets the soft luxurious fabrics elsewhere throughout the apartment.
Design details such as subtle under cabinet lighting and an in built SONOS system add an element of glamour for entertaining to complete this open-plan contemporary kitchen.
