Classic Contemporary Kitchen
Our client came to Hawk K&B to design their kitchen as part of an executive whole house development. The kitchen was imperative to the overall look and feel of the rest of the house as it was situated at the centre of the home, taking up majority of the lower ground floor.
The client wanted to create a grown up interior that reflected their love of classic style but incorporated their modern lifestyle. We therefore specified hand painted grey cabinetry and paired them with Quartz worktops to complement this light filled space. To add an element of contrast and warmth, the central island was designed in a rich walnut with a pale granite worktop.
In order to accentuate the double height ceilings we also added in a walnut mantle. The combination of the dark natural wood and soft grey palette elsewhere created the perfect marriage of classic style with distinctive contemporary touches.
