Contemporary Family Bathroom

As the main bathroom to a family of four, this design had to blend practicality and simplicity with an added element of style. A contemporary grey tile covers both walls and floors to create a streamlined look, with matching mosaics hidden within the bath and shower niche’s adding a discreet design detail. A stud wall was built to create a separate shower enclosure, allowing the bath to be used solely for a deep, relaxing soak.

White gloss Villeroy & Boch cabinetry and sanitary ware, with smooth curves and simple lines, add to the modernity of the space and elevate this bathroom to a luxurious level.

Timeless Family Bathroom

Situated within a Grade II listed Victorian manor house, it was important that the design of this family bathroom was in keeping with the property whilst still remaining modern. For this reason we picked contemporary sanitaryware and brassware but kept the colour scheme neutral and timeless. For example the use of metro tiles also kept the traditional feel whilst their dark grey polished finish was more contemporary.

Having both a separate bath and shower was important to the client due to having a young family so we specified a freestanding bath and positioned it in the corner of the room to create a feature which also allowed more space for a generous walk in shower.

The grey Geberit Acanto vanity unit was the perfect choice for hiding away all of the family’s toiletries with its large drawers. We also replicated the grey glass front of the unit onto the splashback by using RAL colours to get an exact match, resulting in a seamless sink area.

To finish the space, pendant lighting was added alongside spotlights to add a final touch of luxury and accentuate the beautiful high ceilings.

Traditional Marble Bathroom

This project involved not only design but also our build services. The clients wanted to transform their 4 bedroom, 1 bathroom terrace house into a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house; changing one bedroom into an en-suite. This involved us moving a doorway, adding in a window and bringing in plumbing into what was originally a study. We also increased the size of the main family bathroom by knocking through into the separate cloakroom.

The client wanted a traditional look with lots of marble. A traditional roll-top bath takes centre stage in the family bathroom with Neptune freestanding basins finished with Carrara marble worktops and traditional brassware completing the look. An imitation Carrara marble porcelain tile was specified for the floors and walls in order to keep the bathrooms easy to maintain with a young family.

Classic En-Suite

The design of this en-suite marries a soft natural colour palette with natural textures and detailing. A white oak effect tile covers the walls whilst smoked oak effect tiles line the floor, flowing through into the shower. A mirror set into the recess brings an added feeling of space to the room and frames the Neptune vanity unit which is also topped with natural oak.

As not to waste valuable space, we also created some built in shelves for extra storage and to bring a unique design element to this luxurious bathroom.

Cool Contemporary Bathroom

The brief for this project was to create a contemporary bathroom with a spa-like atmosphere. The client wanted a boutique hotel feel that would offer somewhere they could relax therefore a freestanding bath was important in providing that luxurious spot to recline. Together we picked a Victoria & Albert Mozzano bath which delivered a strong architectural presence in this compact bathroom space and was positioned by the window to maximise their rural countryside view.

Not only was this a small space, it also featured an unusual layout which meant we had to design a bespoke shower enclosure including custom-made glass panels. In order to make the best use of the little space we had, we also chose to recess the bathroom cabinet into the wall and used to same Villeroy & Boch tiles across the walls and floor to create a seamless, streamlined finish.

Contemporary En-Suite

This small loft room required careful space planning to achieve a design that felt spacious. A small hidden alcove was opened up to fit a small walk in shower and tiled in a luxurious mosaic to match the basin splash back. The client wanted a masculine look with contrasting features so we specified a black granite basin and worktop with a walnut vanity and mirrored cabinet.

Compact Bathroom Retreat

As this bathroom was quite compact, maximising the space was key. In order to achieve this we used the same tiles across the floor and walls to create a seamless appearance and installed a large mirrored cabinet to reflect light around the room. A stunning clearwater bath takes centre stage on a raised platform, allowing the client to look out of the window whilst bathing. Behind, the scattered brick tiles further enhance the space, creating a subtle feature wall. Alongside a solid wood vanity with marble basins, the neutral palette reflects the natural materials used throughout.

Classic Contemporary Bathroom

Classic contemporary was the brief for this bathroom. The client loved the Neptune look however he also wanted to add contemporary elements. The versatility of Neptune meant that we were able to create a bathroom with classic features, such as the Neptune wooden vanity unit with countertop basins and tongue and grove panelling, whilst combining these with a contemporary freestanding bath and wall hung WC.

A wall of exposed brickwork, created using brick slips also provides contrast and intrigue, sitting effortlessly behind the minimal white curved bath.

Calming Contemporary Bathroom

As this project was for a property developer, the design was to have a wide appeal but with a wow-factor that would sell. This bathroom in particular was a master en-suite therefore the brief was to create something that was an extension of the master bedroom.

Luxury was key to creating wow-factor so we opted for an elegant freestanding bath positioned at an angle in front of the window. This added a unique element that stepped away from the linear, square design of a standard bathroom.

High gloss grey porcelain tiles covered the walls and floor creating a seamless entrance to the double walk-in shower and reflected light around the room for an overall polished finish.
